巴西布拉斯科預計三季度投產美國新建PP裝置

據安迅思休斯敦6月1日消息，巴西布拉斯科公司新聞發言人周一表示，公司正繼續推進位于美國得克薩斯州拉波特的一套新建45萬噸/年的聚丙烯（PP）裝置建設活動，并計劃在今年三季度投產。

在員工和承包商遵守加強的安全措施下，該項目的建設已接近完成，公司計劃很快過渡到調試階段。

該新建PP裝置投資6.75億美元，于2017年開始建設。

布拉斯科公司目前在美國得克薩斯州、西弗吉尼亞州和賓夕法尼亞州運營著5套PP裝置，總產能為158.9萬噸/年。

Braskem expects to start-up new US PP plant in Q3 2020

Braskem is continuing with construction activities and plans to start-up its new 450,000 tonnes/year polypropylene (PP) plant in La Porte, Texas, by Q3, a company spokesperson said on Monday.

The project construction is nearing completion with employees and contractors observing enhanced safety measures and the company plans to transition to the commissioning phase soon.

The new PP plant, known as the Delta project, represents an investment of $675m. Construction began in 2017.

Braskem currently operates five PP plants in the US, in Texas, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, with a combined capacity of 1.589m tonnes/year.
